The Vedas explain the power of MIND and the great effect it has on our
thinking capacity,emotions and intuition. They also guide us how to control
the mind and bring out the vital-energy within us (in Vedas called Prana) and how
to use it to bring the best positive results.
The state of our mind is greatly influenced by our emotions. The positive
emotions makes the soul Happy, Peaceful and one enjoys Good health.
Stress and Tension affects this state of Mind and it clouds our thoughts
and this leads to Negative emotions and eventually affects our health.
Left Side and right Side of Brain:
The human brain is divided into two hemispheres – left and right.
The left side of the brain controls our ability on Handling
the numbers, Language skills, reasoning capacity and Scientific knowledge.
The Left side of the brain is infact Logical, systematic, Rational,
Analytical Factual and Mathematical.In the modern society this side of
brain is well trained and our education is designed to train only this side of
the brain and the other side of the brain is totally neglected.
The Right side of the brain is emotional in function.The right side brain
when well developed a person is blessed with extra sensory persuptions
namely they are capable of doing things which normal persons with the
formal education and training can not achieve.
It makes a person more creatice, imaginative,artists,intuitive, and and
sometimes with holistic capabilties.Such persons have very good Social
skills and are able to communicate with people with ease.
Unfortunately our modern education and systems concentrate on methods
to develop the Left side of the brain and in most of the people the right
side of the brain is neglected and very much less developed. For a Man to
be successful it is necessary that both sides of the brain should be well
developed that is the Left side for his Analytical nature and Right side
brain for his emotional, and creative nature.
The Vedic Technologies activate the right side of brain. Aim of Vedic
Technologies is to strenghten the holistic and intuitive thinking, to
strenghten the concentration and Positive thinking. All this is realized by
practical exercises from Vedas.
The Vedic Technologies:
1. Mirror Technology:
Now a days we use mirror only to look at Us while dressing and we
hardly spend any time in front of mirror. But in the ancient Vedic age the
Mirrors were used not only to look at your external beauty but also it is
used to increase your inner strength.They teach you the methods to gaze
at your image and meditation techniques to improve your mental strength
and capacity. It improves your courage, confidence, intuition.
In ancient India people realized this and Kings have filled their palaces with Mirrors
scattered all over the walls.
2. Sensor Technology:
Human being having Six senses – Eyes, Nose, Ear, Tongue, Body (for
the sense of touch), & Brain (the organ of Mind). These six sense start
from mother’s womb itself. But Vedas teach us the techniques which can
sharpen and develop these six senses.
3. Tejas Technology:
Tejas is Sanskrit word, it means shining. It is said that face is the mirror of your mind.This technique will slowly make your face radiant with special powerful expression which will make others respect once they look into the eyes.
4. Intuition Technology:
Every human being is blessed with certain amount of intuition which is
inborn in them. It is this intuition which warns of dangers, and gives us
this solutions to unanswered questions. The Artists, writers, poets and the
Scientists are some of the people who achieve their goals mainly guided
by their intuition. This intuition is a quality which is controlled by the
right side of the brain. For normal people the right side of the brain is less
developed and hence their voice of intuition will be feeble and the logic
from the left side brain makes it unheard. The Vedas provide methods to
develop our intuition by activating and developing the right side of the
brain.
5. Tongue Technology:

The tongue plays a vital role in our development.It controls our speech.
It is through our speeches we can express our knowledge, feelings etc to
others. When we don’t use it properly we can not expect good results.
The Vedas divide the tongue to 3 parts:
1.The front part
2. The middle part and
3. The inner part.
The Front portion is in charge of our expression. The middle portion is in
charge of knowledge.
For a man to express and explain the knowledge his front and middle portion of the tongue should be well developed. To develop these Vedas have got special set of Mantras by chanting which
the pranounciation will give strength to each portion of the tongue which will make a person good in his/her expression.
6. Mind Technology:
Mind is very basic things for every action. Human brain has got a very high potential and by developing it we can connect our mind and our feelings with that of others that also is called Telepathy.

7. Mantra Technology:
Mantras are Positive Affirmations of ancient India designed by Vedic
scholars in Vedic time. The Vedic Mantras consist out of a sequences of words or syllables in Sanskit languege.
The Vedic Mantras envolve their power:
1. through the „Sound-Vibration“ means the vibration of the spoken
Words in Sankrit language and
2. through the meaning of the words "Positive Affirmations"
3. through the breathing (Prana-Yama)
Mantras can be loud spoken or one can sing a Mantra, or one can only repeat a Mantra silent in mind.
Due to the science of psychology and medicine we know that rhytmic sounds
and medicine have an psychological effect on mind and brain and also a physiological
effect on all body functions. In operation theather for example often classic music is
used for the patient while doing operation, to calm the mind and body functions while doing
operation.
In the treatment of chronic pain patients the use of various musical intruments like drums, singing bouls, bells, string instruments and more is very well known to all doctors and psychologists. Amazingly the patients get relief of pain or handle the pain in a far better way. It was pointed out by scientiest and doctors that due to the treatment of sound and music the brain produces some hormones, which had the wished healing effect.
In the hospital SIGMA CENTER FOR AKUTE MEDICINE in Bad Säckingen, they offer workshops to the patients for therapeutic drumming as a tool for treatment of stress and depression.
One more example from city Hamburg does prove the effect of sounds and music.
According the advise of music psychologists in the main train station in Hamburg and also other train stations, the travellers do listen since 1998 classic music.; as pleasant entertainment for the travellers, but the first reason of playing classic music in train stations is to keep druggers far of the train station.
The reason why drugges dont like classic music, one does not know, but the effect of classic music has proved in praxis. Druggers and Drugs are no problem anymore, in train stations in Hamburg.
Fact is, sounds and music have their effects and one can use sounds and music in good way as a tool in therapy, medicine and other areas.
Same therapeutic effect and even more has a mantra if chanted in correct way. The rhytmic"
Sound-Vibration" of the chanted mantra, and the "Positive Affirmation" of the Mantra have a very strong and Positive healing effect on mind, our thinking and feelings.

Getting a massage gives a healing to body and mind. It provides deep relaxation, and as the muscles in our body relax, so does our overstressed mind. One don’t have to visit the spa to enjoy the benefits of massage.
There are many simple self-massage techniques one can use to relax and release stress and to give self -healing to body and mind.
